Henry Enrique “Ricky” Sanchez, 64, of Port Huron died Friday, May 7, 2021.
He was born June 30, 1956 in Marine City to the late Agustina and Erasmo Sanchez Sr. He married Deborah Harris on May 12, 1979 in Port Huron.
Ricky was employed at Boddy Construction for many years. He was a longtime member of Griswold Street Baptist Church and enjoyed riding his Harley, gardening, trucking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Deborah; seven children, Billie Jo Sanchez, Melissa (Justin) Bailey, Theodore “Ted” Sanchez, Nathan (LaTasha) Sanchez, Erasmo “Joey” Sanchez, Henry (Elisabeth) Sherbutt and Tina (Mark) Zimmer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; friend and special brother, Kerry Pelger; siblings, Roy (Kim) Sanchez, Maria Watson, John Sanchez (Stacey Crosby), Betty (Doug) McRoberts, Ellen Sanchez (Rich Danforth) and Denny Sanchez (Sarah Duda); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Oscar Young; brothers, Mark, Joey and Bob Sanchez; sister, Julie Sanchez; and nephew, Daniel McRoberts.
Visitation will be from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Griswold Street Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Terry Kuhns will officiate.
