Dorthy A Wright

Dorthy Ann Wright, 80, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born February 20, 1941 in Florence, Alabama to the late Charlie and Sibyl Dennis. She married Daniel Wright on August 24, 1957 in Angola, Indiana. They were married 60 years, until his death on April 10, 2018.

Mrs. Wright owned and operated the Village Motel in Mesick with her husband.

She is survived by two children, Doris Ann (Robert) Culton and Debra Wright (Craig “Hop” Hoppough); and grandchildren, Dora Culton, Sarah Culton, Curtis Hoppough and family.

Private family services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
