Richard Schneck

Richard Robert Schneck, 87, of Mussey Township, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

He was delivered by his grandfather on the family farm on September 6, 1934. He married Michelle R. Ziemke on November 13, 2014 in Reno, Nevada.

Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a paratrooper stationed in Germany. After returning from the service, he was employed with Chrysler Corporation for 30 years until his retirement. Richard was a talented builder and in his younger years enjoyed bowling. He was a member of the American Legion Post 135 in Imlay City.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle; son, Richard “Rick” Schneck; and daughter-in-law, Jann Schneck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Angeline Schneck; wives, Beverly Schneck and Joyce Keller Schneck; son, Ron Schneck; daughter-in-law, Connie Schneck; and sister, Sandra Kuffa.

Burial was at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
