Stanley Myshock
Stanley Carl Myshock Sr., 73, passed away peacefully in his sleep January 9, 2012 after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, and his loving children Paulette Kleiss (Daniel McArthur), Celeste (James) Douglass, Stanley Jr., Chester, and Richard. He had many grandchildren, Christopher, Dennis, Stanley III, Alisha, James, Chester, Nikole, Jordan, Drew, Steven, Ella and Noah. He is also survived by his sister Marylou Checcobelli, a brother, Thomas (Lori) Myshock; and several nieces and nephews. He was born to Frank and Mary Myshock on March 18, 1938.
He was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a great bowler and was very proud of the fact he bowled a 300 game at age 68. Stanley worked for Dearborn public schools for 30 years. Stanley and his wife retired to Cheboygan, MI where they made many new friends. He had a lifetime of great friends who always knew if you needed help with something, Stan was a phone call away.
A celebration of his life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 3455 Stone Street, Port Huron at
1 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012.
