Elmer K Welics

Elmer Karl Welics, 83 of Port Huron, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Elmer and Anna Welics. He married Charlene L. Bearden on September 2, 1995 in Shelby Township.

After graduating from high school, Elmer proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. Elmer loved golfing with friends and enjoyed college football. Family and friends were very important to him and he will be missed by many.

He is survived by wife, Charlene; daughter, Deborah Homenik; son-in-law, Timothy Riley; stepsons, Jeffrey (Kristine) Bearden and Robert (Beth) Bearden; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda; daughter, Susan Riley; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Thomas Lilburn.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Bill Wright will officiate.
