Roselynn "Rose" Shagena

Roselynn “Rose” Shagena, 72, of Clyde Township, died Monday, May 29, 2023.

She was born October 21, 1950 in Detroit to the late Arthur and Jennie Roll. She married Clayton “Bud” Shagena on March 23, 1991 in Port Huron.

Rose was employed as a biller at Port Huron Hospital for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking, baking and spending time shopping with her dear friends.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bud; four daughters, Christy (Lee) Tremp of Marysville; Kelly (Dave) Harrington of Chesterfield, Dawn (Mark) Brown of Hawaii and Pam (Richy) Reinhart of Avoca; two sons, Brian (Gina) Shagena of Texas and Richard Shagena of Florida; ten grandchildren, Marissa and Conner Stager, Sam and Gabi Tremp, Vince and Alana Harrington, Nolan and Lila Brown, Brecht Shagena, Jordan Reinhart, Brittney Claxton and Lauren Herman; two great grandchildren, Carson and Shane; sister, Janet Benson of Grosse Pointe; two nieces, Lea Stoyka and Virginia Benson; and great nephew, Lawrence Sobson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Roll; and two brothers, Peter and Joe Roll.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church. The Reverend Phil Whetstone will officiate. Pallbearers will be Lee Tremp, Conner Stager, Brian Shagena, Sam Tremp, Lawrence Sobson and Dave Harrington.
