Eva G Caughill

Eva Gloria Caughill, 88, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, September 23, 2023.

She was born September 17, 1935 in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada to the late Clifford and Eva Drouillard. She married the love of her life, Karl J. Caughill, on November 24, 1956. They were married for 42 years until his death on December 15, 1998.

Mrs. Caughill worked as an upholsterer for City Awning prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Parish. She loved to sew and enjoyed playing bingo and cards.

She is survived by a son, Daniel (Denise) Caughill; four grandchildren, Derek Caughill, Dana (Patrick) Crottie, Dustin Caughill (Crystal Fuller) and Daycee Caughill (Richard Chantelau); three great grandchildren, Sierra and Rylee Crottie and Dillon Caughill; a daughter, Patricia (Jerry) Brown; grandson, Robert Brown; her lifelong friend, June Groff; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael; four brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
