Nancy L Wilson

Nancy Lou Wilson, 88, of Fort Gratiot Twp., died Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

She was born July 17, 1938 in Detroit to the late Carl and Josephine Gerschow. She married Elbert Dennis Wilson on July 11, 1981 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2017 after 36 years of marriage.

Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Memphis High School and a longtime member of the Mt. Vernon Chapter #461 O.E.S. She and her mother enjoyed playing Bingo at the local American Legions, and she was also talented at crochet and puzzling.

Nancy is survived by her children, Carl (Hazel) Grimson and Nancy “JoJo” (Daniel) Werner; step-children, Shelly Webb and Mark (Brenda) Wilson; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (Raymond) Foglesong; sister-in-law, Barb Gerschow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Gerschow.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township.
