James Edward Peeling Jr., 61, of Kimball Township, died Monday, March 1, 2021 after a short illness.
He was born March 20, 1959 in Port Huron to Norma and the late James Peeling. He married Deborah Love on December 22, 1990 in Port Huron.
Mr. Peeling was employed with Dunn Paper Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his mother, Norma Samson; two sons, Ryan Peeling and James (Amber) Peeling III; six grandchildren, Ryleigh, Jaxon, Jolene, Delilah, Abrianna and Remington Peeling; a sister, Shelley (Jeff) Watters; an uncle, Albert (Janet) Randolph; an aunt, Angie (George) Nickonovich; sisters-in-law, Kim (Shawn) McCarty and Michelle Jones; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Aliannah, Colton and Adalynne Peeling.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
There will also be a public visitation from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home followed by a private service. The Reverend Joseph Baunoch will officiate.
