Glen Andrew Folyer

Glen Andrew Folyer, 96, of Goodells, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

He was born May 10, 1928 in Roscoe, Illinois to the late Ira and Muriel Folyer.

Glen began work on the family farm as a young boy and then found his true love, over the road trucking, which he did until he was 80 years old.

Glen is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda; two children, Sandy Margelofsky and John (Melody) Folyer; three step-children, Daniel Jackson, William (Jessica) Jackson and Jennie (Chuck) West; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Robert) Lunsford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Folyer; son-in-law, DuWayne Margelofsky; and four siblings, Albert, Melba, Elmer and Clair.

Glen was cremated in Michigan and took one final ride in a truck to Pinnacle Hill Cemetery in Roscoe, Illinois where he was buried on the family plot.
