Marion E Cruickshank

Marion E. Cruickshank, 93, of Marysville, died Monday, January 23, 2017.

She was born May 22, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey to the late David and Marie Abbott. She married Donald G. Cruickshank on October 26, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died June 9, 2012.

Mrs. Cruickshank was employed as an office worker for RCA company in New Jersey for forty-two years. After her retirement from RCA she moved to California to reside with her sister. At age seventy-nine she married the love of her life. Marion and her husband moved to Michigan in 2005. Marion’s past times included teaching Sunday school in Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, traveling, gardening, reading and she loved socializing with friends, family, and neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Michael Don (Jill) Cruickshank; a daughter, Nancy (Richard) Badley; two grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon) Cruickshank and Kelley Cruickshank; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Carly Cruickshank; two sisters, Alice (Cliff) Schulz and Marie Souter; nephews and nieces, Scott (Alexis) Thorpe, Doug Thorpe and Barbara Wirtz, Charles (Jennifer) Schulz, Marianne (Jim) Willits, Linda (Michael) Mullen, Nancy (Greg) Grinsell and Robin (Robert) Lacy.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
