Jacqueline M Preiss

Jacqueline Marie Preiss, 76, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

She was born August 31, 1943 in Detroit to the late John and Bernice Preiss.

Jacqueline worked at Winkelmann and Ardens in the late 60’s, and then at Mercy Hospital as an aide and ward clerk for 24 years. She took a lot of pride in her work and her appearance. Jackie’s first car was a 1970 Yellow Volkswagen, which she had for 24 years. She enjoyed going to Frankenmuth to listen to the polka music and different bands. She also enjoyed short vacation trips up North and going on the bus to the casino. She couldn’t wait for a good day to go to Pine Grove Park to sit in the fresh air and watch the boats and people go by.

Jaqueline had a big heart, but on her terms. Everyone would say she meant well. When she was away, she was always anxious to get home to her fur babies. Even though there were hard times, she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by four siblings, Roberta Preiss, Rosemary (Bill) Walker, John Preiss, and Debbie Beem.

Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in the Mt. Hope Cemetery chapel.
