Charles F "Chuck" Pilger

Charles Franklin “Chuck” Pilger SFC Ret., 89, of Port Huron, died Sunday, April 10, 2022.

He was born March 29, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Carrie Pilger.

Chuck served in the U.S. Army for 27 years and retired as Sergeant First Class. After his service he worked as an electrician and photographer for many years.

He is survived by eight children, Cynthia (Tom) Braze, Chuck Pilger Jr., Douglas Pilger, John Pilger, Kerry Pilger, Trisha Pilger, Heather Ambrose and Tracy (Vince) Fagen; and many grandchildren.

Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
