Graham M. Baker, 81, of Kimball, died Saturday, April 23, 2022.
He was born December 23, 1940 in Kimball Township to the late Edward and Elsie Baker. He married Betty M. LaVere on August 4, 1962 in Port Huron. She died October 4, 2016.
Graham was a mechanic in the trucking industry. He was a hard worker and always had a job to do. He was ready and willing to help somebody when they needed it. One of the last things he did was ride on his tractor. He always complained he was tired…can’t imagine why! The man never slowed down. He was hardheaded, ornery and generous. Life will never be the same without him. You can finally rest now Dad. You are back with Mom, where you wanted to be.
He is survived by two children, Linda (Randy) Sutkiewicz and Mark (Teresa) Baker; grandchildren, David Gardiner, Meagan Sutkiewicz, Cory Baker and Abby Baker; brothers, Garrett (Mary Lou) Baker and Gilford Baker; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandson, Ryan Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend James Smith will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
