Patricia J "Patty" Milting
Patricia JoAnn “Patty” Milting, 59, of Richmond passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024.
She was born June 9, 1965 in Warren to the late Edward and Betty Keppens. She married Carl Milting on March 19, 2010 in New Baltimore.
Patricia was a long-time Girl Scout and received the prestigious Gold Award. As an adult, she continued to foster her love of the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, canoeing trips, snowmobiling and music and singing around the campfire. She was employed at MediLodge for many years in several positions, including activities, laundry, maintenance, nurse’s aide and dietary. Above all she cared for her family and friends, treating her nieces and nephews as her own children. She was the family event coordinator, who loved nothing more than planning ways for her family to gather.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Carl; 9 siblings, Phillip Keppens, Michael (Tami) Leder, Dennis (Rhonda) Leder, Michelle “Mickey” Keppens, Dawn (Dennis) Shaffer, Laurie (Bill) Spilski, Connie (Brian) Winkle, Chris (Kristen) Kummerl and Jenny (Jim) Heath; step-mom, Manuela Meucci; many beloved friends; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by step-dads, Wayne Baker and Thomas Mangan; step-mom, Lenore Keppens; and three siblings Edward Keppens, Kevin Baker, and Greg Leader.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Maniaci’s Banquet Center, Richmond.
