Betty June Hegler, 87, of Port Huron, died Saturday, April 7, 2012.
She was born August 29, 1924 in Port Huron to the late Lyle and Martha McDonald.
She was employed at the Pilot House for over 30 years. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, trips to Lexington and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by five children, Gary (Diana) Hegler, Lana Bedel, Ray Hegler, Dennis Hegler and Russell (Deanne) Hegler; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur (Ruth) McDonald, Dean (Glenna) McDonald, Danny (Chris) McDonald; two sisters, Sandy (Lee) Marler and Nancy (Dean) Howery; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Judy McDonald; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ray Hegler and Bill Western; five brothers, Ray, Kenneth, Leonard, Larry and Ed McDonald; sister, Yvonne McDonald; and son-in-law, Paul Bedel.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Reverend John Carrier will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
