Mildred F. Kidder, 94, of Marysville, died Sunday, May 3, 2015.
She was born July 22, 1920 in Smiths Creek to the late George and Anna Moak. She married Chester B. Kidder on February 20, 1937 in Port Huron. He died April 11, 2007.
Mrs. Kidder was employed with the Port Huron Area School District until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Smiths Creek O.E.S. Chapter 461 and the Golden Agers Club. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed oil painting and flower gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann (Lewis) Bartow of Battle Creek; son, Edward (Linda) Kidder of Marysville; grandchildren, Karen (Gordon) German, Kathy (Eric) Naugle, Brian (Laura) Bartow and Dale (Laurie) Bartow; 10 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Marysville Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 a.m. The Reverend William Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
